We love to host a party here at The Play Village and we guarantee you a day to remember for all of the right reasons. As parents ourselves, we know how important birthday celebrations are to you, your children, and all their loved ones and friends. But, we also know how frantic life can be. That’s why we’re here to share the load.

If you’re looking for a party with a difference, The Play Village is the perfect venue. Our place is centred around the fun and magic of role play. Igniting the imaginations of small people in a safe, clean, and friendly setting.

Up to 15 guests can be catered for within a session time.

We ring fence an area of The Play Village, exclusively for your children and their party guests.

This is where the children will enjoy their party food and sing Happy Birthday to the birthday child.

This space will be decorated in line with your chosen theme. We have 6 themes to choose from: Princess, Superhero, Fairy, Space, Mermaid and Jungle.

When they’re not eating, the children are free to wonder around the eight play pods that imitate real-life settings. From a fire station, to a veterinary surgery.

This gives them an opportunity to enjoy the fun and magic of role play.

1. Can I book exclusive hire??

Yes, please select our Platinum Package. You will have exclusive use of the venue for up to 30 children.

2. How many shall I book for?

The maximum number of guests is 15. It is best to book for the maximum and we can reduce it when you have had your rsvp’s back.

3. Is there a deposit?

Yes, £50 non refundable deposit on booking.

4. When will I get the invitations?

We will either post or email the invitations to you within 7 days of your booking.

5. What food is included?

The party food consists of a selection of sandwiches, pizza, veg sticks, fruit kebabs and mini cupcakes.

6. Can you cater for allergies?

Absolutely! Every single one of them. Just ask.

7. Can I bring my own cake?

Yes, no problem. Alternatively we can supply the most awesome cake to go with your chosen theme for £50. Cake is included in the Gold and Platinum packages.

8. How long is the party?

The whole session is 2 hours and 15 minutes. The village will open 5 minutes after the start time and close 5-10 minutes before the end.

9. Can we arrive early to decorate?

No need! We take care of all of the decorations. All you need to do is turn up! We will be busy getting ready for all of our guests before the session so if you do have additional decorations, please get in touch so we can arrange this.

10. How will it work on the day?

We will be ready to welcome you and your guests from 5 minutes before the start of the session. Once everyone has arrived we will invite everyone into the village for a quick briefing and a song. The children can then enjoy playing for around an hour before heading over to the party table for their food and to sing Happy Birthday. Once they have finished they can return to the village to resume playing. We play the tidy up song 5-10 minutes before the end of the session. The venue fully closes at the end time.

11. What is in the party bags?

We try to keep our bags as eco friendly as we can. Typically they will contain a cress seed head making kit, a sticker face, sweet pillow & chocolate bar. You may add to these if you wish.

12. When is the final payment due?

We will call you 48 hours before the party to confirm final numbers and take the balance payment.

13.Can I cancel?

Yes. Parties can be cancelled up to 48 hours before with no further charge.

14.Can I change the theme?

Yes, as long as we have at least 7 days notice.

15.Are balloons included?

Yes, every party will have a balloon arch in line with the chosen theme. Gold and Platinum will have additional helium balloons. You are also welcome to bring your own balloons.

16.How many adults are included?

We allow for 1 adult per child plus 5. We can accommodate more as long as we know in advance.

17. Can siblings come along?

Any children coming along that are not eating with the party will need to be booked in separately via our website. Non-walking babies that are not eating with the party are free of charge and do not need to be booked in.
